Addressing the challenge of preventing teen dating violence from the bottom-up – For youth workers, educators, young people, schools, etc

You can register for the event here

Children First represents a shared effort to educate school children (aged 12-18) in order to prevent and address dating violence from an early age by undermining gender stereotypes, norms and roles that are the main causes of dating violence. You can check the project’s website here.

Join us as we showcase the work of the Children First project across five European countries – addressing the challenge of preventing teen dating violence from the bottom-up, through the participation of young people.

We will also be announcing the winners of our online creative contest for young people (12-18) and hearing from young people and educators who have been involved in the programme.

Join us to share international learning and to find out what you can do as individuals, educators, parents or young people to prevent gender-based violence among young people.

Please note that the conference will be audio and video recorded. When attending this meeting you agree on the collection publication of the audio and video recordings and/or web streaming. If you do not agree with your image or voice being recorded, please let us know (contact@iars.org.uk) and we may offer an alternative option.
