What would I do?

We have multiple roles available, to suit your individual preferences. These can be viewed here, but generally The Youth Advisory Board meets monthly to discuss Sculpt’s current work and projects, as well as hear about the different opportunities available to Advisory Board members. An agenda is prepared and shared in advance. Meetings are usually held both on Zoom and in-person.

As a member of the Youth Advisory Board, you will gain first-hand experience of being part of a youth-led organisation. From evaluating funding bids to contributing to policy consultations, you will have the opportunity to develop your written and communication skills and shape government thinking on contemporary issues. In addition, Advisory Board members can contribute to our publications, including our annual magazine. All the training offered by Sculpt is open and free to Advisory Board members. There may also be access to other opportunities, including representing Sculpt at conferences.
