Young Women in Communications – we invite all young women to attend this webinar, to listen and discuss how to enter a career in marketing, barriers that young women may face and how to overcome them. If you’re considering communications as a potential career path, are interested in the marketing sector or simply just want to come explore your options then this webinar is for you!

What’s involved?

Sculpt is a UK based, youth-led charity that seeks to empower young people by equipping them with the necessarily skills and knowledge to shape their lives and those of their community for the better. In a bid to celebrate and raise awareness of International Women’s Day, throughout the month of March we are delivering a range of webinars targeted at young women, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to #breakthebias.

This webinar will be led by Emily Poyser. Emily is a communications and marketing expert and has spent much of her career working in international development. She is now based in London following many years working overseas, including in Afghanistan and Tunisia. She currently works for the UK Cabinet Office overseeing communications projects. Prior to that she held media roles at UNICEF UK, the UK Prime Minister’s Office, and the UK’s Department for International Development.

Come along and learn about pathways to success, listen to advice and guidance from Emily and connect with other young women who are either working in this industry or are considering it as a potential new career.
