The IARS International Institute is proud to announce an online creative contest for adolescents (12-18 years old) attending schools, in order to reflect their understanding of relationships free from gender-based violence, through an innovative creative-artistic form!
Do you work or are you in touch with young visual artists, video-makers or writers? Spread the word!
We are looking for creative and thought-provoking artworks, capable of representing adolescents’ interpretation of a such delicate and under-researched theme, being teen dating violence. These expressions can take various forms, as long as they can be made accessible in electronic form (images, videos or writings).
Due to its immense popularity, this is the second time we hold this contest in the UK. You can find some of the submissions from our previous competition here https://childrenfirst.info/art-against-tdv-contest/ .
Please send your submissions to d.noriega@iars.org.uk before the 10th July and we’ll be announcing the winners the following week.
The Children First project
Children First is an EU-funded project aiming at preventing and contrasting school-related gender-based violence (SRGBV) among children, with a focus on dating violence. The project is implemented by partners from the UK, Greece, Cyprus, Lithuania and Italy.
