It is not too late! If you want to join the Ambassador Network, this is your chance.
For 30 years now, an international non-profit organisation has been around young people in order to raise awareness on learning mobility opportunities and encourage them to become active citizens.
Eurodesk UK, with connection to 36 European countries and thousands of information providers, is now calling for Ambassadors. What exactly are the Eurodesk Ambassadors? They act as the local contacts across the UK. They are there to inform and enthuse young people and youth organisations about international opportunities.
If you become a Eurodesk Ambassador, you will have the opportunity to spread the word about international opportunities to young people and youth organisations in your everyday activity such as events, talks, and training, and on social media. You need to be based in the UK and be a youth worker or a young person (age 18 or over) with an understanding or experience of international opportunities such as Erasmus+ or European Solidarity Corps.
Eurodesk will provide support, including an introductory expenses-paid training day and you will receive Eurodesk UK information materials and promotional items, and can attend network meetings and training to boost your skills. There is a reward scheme for activities.
Signing-up as an Ambassador will connect you to the wider Eurodesk network of more than 1100 contact points across 36 countries. In addition to that, you will get official recognition on the dedicated webpage. Eurodesk is going to promote your activities on their website and social media and they are going to invite you to national seminars and training, along with providing online support.
Last but not least, you will have access to post on the Eurodesk Opportunity Finder and apply for funding for activities to support campaigns.
To join the Ambassador Network, complete and submit the online application form by Sunday 6 April 2020.
If you have any questions about the role or applying, please get in touch with Eurodesk UK.
