Today is Kara’s last day as the Research and Policy Intern at IARS. Here is what she had to say about her time at IARS:
Over the past 7 weeks, I had the pleasure of working as a Research and Policy Intern at IARS and boy did the time fly by. This is undoubtedly due to the incredible staff members I worked with, Maija and Romina, as well as my fellow interns, who have made this experience so enjoyable. I had no idea that working for social justice could be so fun, and I will forever treasure my time here.
I chose to intern at IARS this summer because I am deeply passionate about fairness, equality and most importantly, justice. It was inspiring to be a part of an organization that not only shares these same values, but is actively involved in promoting such beliefs to invoke social change.
Although my time at IARS has come to an end, I’m walking away a more experienced, determined and passionate person. I am extremely grateful for all that I have learned here, and this experience is one I will never forget. All my love and respect for you, IARS, keep doing your thing!
We are truly grateful for Kara’s hard work and contributions at IARS, and we would like to wish her the best of luck in her future endeavours! Thank you Kara
