Marho took part in our Learn2Work programme during his time at Sculpt. Learn2Work is a professional development opportunity to support young SEND people at the beginning of their careers journey, primarily those aged 16+. This 8 week programme aims to break down the barriers to opportunity through bespoke sessions on important professional and social topics and skill development.

Hi my name is Marho and I spent 8 weeks on a work experience programme at Sculpt. I have Autism, ADHD and dyslexia and I am a natural born entertainer! I love being with my friends, playing video games and watching Youtube. In the future I want to be an entertainer and I would like to start a Youtube channel. Through this programme I learnt about finance, customer service and how to plan for my future.

Working with Sculpt I was able to identify my skills:

  • Communication – I am confident in communicating my ideas, especially through debating.
  • Teamwork – I enjoyed working with my classmates to come up with ideas together.
  • Confidence – I am able to talk to most people and try new things because I have a lot of self belief.

My favourite things about this experience were the games we played, debating current topics and travelling to the office.
